Security of Captured Data
When capturing customer data it is passed to the secure eReports server, located in a secure 24/7 data centre, using encryption technology to ensure that your information is protected when being sent over the Internet.
Additionally, all stored customer information is protected from unauthorised access through the use of a secure username and password and other security procedures.

Signs of our secure service
There are 2 ways to easily recognise the security of our site.
The first is to note that you are using a web page that utilises Secure Socket Layers (SSL) protection which can easily be determined by looking at the address in your browser window. It will start with “https” rather than “http”, which unsecured pages use.

The second element to look for is the reference to the padlock symbol and the label eReports Pty Ltd in your browser window. This indicates where we have employed additional measures to improve the security of our online transactions and other confidential communications. By clicking on our name it will lead you to further information on our security certificate.

All data is stored in a secure database and is only used in the provision of the requested service. Statistics from the data are used internally to provide reporting on traffic patterns within our web site. These statistics are only accessible by those people requiring them to produce reports and will not be provided to any third parties.

Browsers and the eReports website
