eReports is a national leader in the provision independent medical assessments and expert advisory services to a broad range of clients such as insurers, self- insured businesses, government departments, legal firms and the corporate sector.

A newly created position is available for a highly experienced and forward thinking Practice Manager to progress change for the company’s next stage of evolution in our Victorian headquarters in the Melbourne CBD. Our new Smart Rooms service are a series of national clinic locations for medical professionals – offering a high service standard. Smart Rooms are a co-working hub that draws medical professionals into a dynamic, supportive and revenue focused environment.

Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will be responsible for day to day operations of a very busy clinical practice and the management of the Specialist Support Team with the prime directive being the delivery of exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. This is a fast paced role with tight deadlines and is suitable for an experienced Practice Manager that can work autonomously to deliver positive operational outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Management of workflow and mentoring of staff

• Reviewing existing policies and procedures and implementing change for optimal efficiency

• Providing ongoing planning, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects relating to the practice

• Nurturing and developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals within the medical field

• Invoice each specialist utilising Smart Rooms services and provide financial reporting to Finance Manager

• All HR related activities with regards to managing personnel

To be considered for this role you will have:

• The passion to provide exceptional client service and build strong relationships 

• Previous supervisory experience working as a Practice Manager for large medical practice, HR management, recruiting, leadership and team building essential

•  Highly successful at handling detailed concepts and problems, balancing multiple tasks and competing demands simultaneously, to enable appropriate decision making regarding administrative issues.

• Certificate IV and/or Diploma in Practice Management or HR/Business Management studies will be highly regarded

• Demonstrated the ability to engage and lead a team in achieving KPI’s 

• Understanding or experience in the workers compensation, personal injury or compensable sectors

• Proficient use of Microsoft office software applications

• Confident user of MS Office Packages

• Sound knowledge of Medicare Benefits Schedule including DVA, workers compensation billings and payments

• An understanding or experience in general practice accreditation and standards

• Proactive approach to decision making and problem solving

• High level of communication skills written and verbal

• Proficiency in scheduling medical experts
